KnA Community Outreach Program

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

KnA Community Outreach Program is designed to plan, direct, and maintain community outreach activities and solve issues pertaining to Karenni Communities' welfare. Our goal is to build and maintain relationships between KnA and Karenni communities through educational workshops (learning and instructional videos), partnerships, events, and volunteering works. Advocate professional services for Korean-American communities by conducting strategic planning, research, & carrying projects in accordance with KnA’s mission & and vision, setting measurable objectives and key results

OBJECTIVES

01.

Maintain a calender of Community outreach activities, track performance & goals, provide community feedbacks (Create schedule).

02.

Reach out and develop collaborative partnerships between KnA and Karenni Community leaders of each state & city. (Volunteering data info collection -leader name, address, contact information)

03.

Assist in preparation of KnA’s annual planning, special events and initiatives for karenni communities directed by KnA’s president & secretaries. (KND, DEEKU, KAY HTOE BOE)

04.

Screen and recruit Karenni American youths to participate, volunteer, and help in the planning, preparation, and execution of community outreach activities, and goals.

05.

Listen to Karenni community concerns, and feedback, and formulate solutions. (Share with KnA’s Officers and other departments)

06.

Create, share, and learn instructional videos and infographics on various topics including heath, finances, social works, government programs benefits, education & job opportunities, & entertainment.
